Small Bizen- pottery plate, handmade by a local artisan in Okayama Prefecture, Japan.
Bizen ware is one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns and it is considered to be one of the most outstanding kilns in Japanese pottery. Bizen has a unique method as it does not use glaze, like in many other pottery. The rustic appearance of Bizen pottery is suitable for daily use.
You can use it as an accessory plate or to put spices, seeds, etc. for example.
